Hey guys,

On the 29th of October my school had our whole school production and the name of it was Beyond the Autumn Mist because it’s about a dragon named Puff exploring fairy tale lands. All he wanted was to be in a fairy tale so he tried his hardest to get in one.

The original song  puff the magic dragon was created by Leonard Lipton and Peter Yarrow. The play was created by Eileen Hesse.

The different scenes in this play were:

Scene 1: Puff the Magic Dragon choir (I was in that one)

Scene 2: Goldilocks and the three bears

Scene 3: Snow White and the seven dwarfs (I was one of the dwarfs, I was sleepy)

Scene 4: The Little Mermaid

Scene 5: Rapunzel (My class and I did our dance in this scene)

Scene 6: The Three Little Pigs

Scene 7: Sleeping Beauty

Scene 8: Aladdin

Scene 9: Cinderella

Scene 10: Little Red Riding Hood

Scene 11: Drumming and Senior Dance (I was in the Senior dance, the song was Single Ladies by beyonce)

Scene 12: (I’m in this one)

After that the teachers came out and did their own dance!

Overall it was a very good production and was worth all the work we did.

My favourite biome would have to be tropical biome because I love the tree’s, waterfalls and beaches.

The nice green, fresh, wet trees, the blue, clean, beautiful waterfalls, the yellow, soft sand of beaches and fresh water of the sea.

I am interested in these kind of things which is why this is my favourite biome.

The tropical biome seems like a nice place to relax.

So these are the reasons I like the tropical biome.

Hi guys,

Today our school had a mini fair to raise money for Bahay Tuluyan . My class had a stall providing healthy snacks and treats. It was fun because it had so many different stalls like face painting, hairspray, honey joys, books, chocolate coin toss and cakes. I got my face done like a rainbow and I got silly string in my hair, I bought about 6 honey joys. The things we had at the stalls were cheese and crackers, popcorn, corn on the cob and fruit sticks. We had a really good stall it sold out quickly.

A week ago I would have been on holidays doing all sorts of exciting things with all different people, friends, relatives and family friends. Early in the holidays I had my party at a rock climbing centre and I invited my friends Jenny, Cooper and Grace. We had so much fun and I managed to climb all the way to the top and it was about 6 or 7 stories high, my friends did it too. We had to get hooked up to the harness and then someone underneath you was the bilayer who held you up. After that we went to McDonald’s and we all had big macs with some fries and a frozen drink except Grace, I think she had a cheese burger. We went to my house after that and played with my game that Grace gave to me as a present, while we were in the middle of playing my older sister came with her dog. Her dog’s name is Cooper, Cooper came running down the hall and came up to me and started licking my face and walked all over the game. We quickly had cupcakes as my friends sang happy birthday to me, then we had to take them home. When I got back my sister was waiting to take me to her house because I was going over there for a sleepover.

Later that day I was at my sisters house, me and cooper were playing together and then my sister’s husband came and we put on a movie, it was a really good movie. We had taco’s for dinner and they were delicious, for dessert we had ice cream which taste yummy too, we watched another movie and the went to bed. I woke up at about 8:30 we then got dressed, did all we had to do but didn’t eat breakfast because we were going to gold class. We went to gold class, ordered some yummy food and went into the theatre, we were upfront. We went to see inside out, it was really cool and it as funny and very cleverly made. Later I went home and told my mum and my dad all about it!

My Godmother for my birthday got me tickets to go see the lion king with her, we got to the place and bought some snacks to eat there, we then sat in our sits and waited for it to start. It went dark and the first song came on and animals came out from everywhere. It was a whole better experience because we had great seats up high and no people in front of us, so we had a great view and could see everything clearly. The show was just amazing and much better than I thought I would be and I absolutely loved it. I had really enjoyed it and had a wonderful time. After,  for dinner we had MacDonald’s, we both had a cheeseburger which tasted good. She took me home after that and I told my mum all about it because she wanted to take me to it.

I had a really good holidays and it was really fun and exciting!

Hi guys this is my goal for term 3!

My main goal for term 3 is to become better and faster at multiplication and times tables. I will achieve that by practicing times tables every night at home and trying to remember and understand how to complete multiplication sums.

I will know when I have achieved this because If someone asks me a times table I will just be able to say it straight away with hardly thinking, it will just be in my brain. I will know I have completed this goal when I don’t struggle so much with multiplication sums and I will be more confident about having the right answer.

This is the last day of term 2

We did so much this term:

These people came to our school and taught us first aid training, I really liked learning about how to do CPR. We also learnt what to do if someone has been injured, you grab the persons hand and ask them to squeeze if they hear you.

We did Inter school sports and I played volley stars. It is a bit like volley ball except you have to catch the ball and set it to some one and then they will set it over the net, you can pass it to three different people. It is super fun trying to catch the ball and set or dig it over the net. We played 3 games, because two schools didn’t have a volley stars team.

We also did cross country running. First we had to go to a park to see who got in and it was really tiring but I got in 10th which is the last place to get in. One person who got in couldn’t be there so my friend who came 11th got in.

I made my Confirmation this term and I was confirmed by Bishop Mark Edwards and he was really nice so I felt really comfortable making my confirmation. My parents came and my grandma and aunt came and only two of my brothers came, the rest of my sibling were working.

So I am really excited for term three!

I got three on first week of school but, I’m not exactly sure why I got the most on that post.

Mine was the first week of school because I was really excited and I thought it was great to be in a new class.

Did you change blog themes at all and why?
No, because I really like the theme how it is and I don’t want to waste my time changing themes.

Hi,
Today my blog post will be about punctuation, I am focusing on commas (,). They are very important because they are used for when you are doing a list of things e.g. bunnies, giraffes, dogs, cats and elephants. Or a comma can be used in a situation when you have a breathe but not quite as long as you would with a full stop. For e.g. I went the shops because, we ran out of milk. Commas are also sometimes used after phrases.
